Get Involved

TreeStation is a Society for the Benefit of the Community (FSA Reg No. 31552R). That means we exist to serve Manchester and the surrounding area, not to generate profit for shareholders. There are several ways you can be part of what we do.

Become a Member

Membership costs £1. That single share gives you:

  • Full voting rights at general meetings -- one member, one vote
  • Members-only newsletters
  • Invitations to TreeStation events
  • Access to community benefit services including growing projects, school talks and playground improvements

To join, request a share application form by emailing info@treestation.co.uk or calling 0161 231 3333.

Invest

You can invest in TreeStation through share purchases. Your money directly supports a social enterprise that creates jobs, manages woodlands and supplies renewable fuel in Greater Manchester.

Social Investment Tax Relief may be available on share investments.

Contact us at info@treestation.co.uk for details on current share offers and investment terms.

Volunteer

We welcome volunteers for practical and professional roles:

Practical Volunteering

Help with site tasks at our yard and in the woodlands we manage. No experience required -- we will train you and provide equipment.

Professional Volunteering

We are looking for people with skills in design, marketing and community engagement to support our work on a voluntary basis.

Board of Directors

We are seeking volunteer directors with relevant professional experience to join our board. If you have skills in finance, forestry, social enterprise, governance or related areas, we would like to hear from you.
