Tree Surgery
Hazardous Beech Removal, Chadkirk
A large beech tree at Chadkirk had significant internal rot and was assessed as unsafe. We felled the tree for Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council and processed the timber into firewood at our yard. Nothing went to waste.
Crown Reduction to BS 3998:2010, Middleton
A mature tree in Middleton required crown reduction. We carried out the work to BS 3998:2010, the British Standard for tree work. The result was a balanced, healthy crown with no visible damage to the tree.
Woodland Management
Hazardous Poplar Clearance, Manchester Grammar School
A stand of poplar trees at Manchester Grammar School had become hazardous and needed removal. We cleared the site, extracted the timber and processed it into woodchip for renewable energy. The school got a safe site; the timber went to heat buildings instead of going to landfill.
Products and Fuel Supply
Biomass Delivery to Underground Hopper
We supply woodchip to a site with an underground fuel store. Our hooklift truck delivers bulk loads that are gravity-fed into the hopper, keeping the fuel supply chain efficient and the site tidy.
Large-Scale Chipping with Heizohack HM14800K
We used our Heizohack 14-800K chipper (800mm capacity) to process a large volume of leylandii into woodchip. The Heizohack handles timber that smaller chippers cannot, making it cost-effective for high-volume jobs.
Commercial Contracts
We work with local authorities, housing associations, facilities managers and other contractors on ongoing commercial contracts. Case studies for this section are in preparation.
