We supply quality firewood for wood-burning stoves, boilers, open fires, chimeneas, and barbecues. All our wood comes from tree surgery across Greater Manchester, processed and dried at our Gorton yard. We have held Woodsure Ready to Burn approval since 2021 — every log we sell has a moisture content below 20%.
Buy individual bags, full nets, or loose cubic metres. We deliver free within the M60 ring road on orders of 1 cubic metre (approximately 30 nets) or 20 nets and above.
Order online, call 0161 231 3333, or email info@treestation.co.uk.
Firewood Grades
Premium Hardwood
Our standard grade. Mixed hardwood (excluding willow and poplar), split to an average length of 200mm. Kiln-dried to below 20% moisture. This is what most customers with a wood-burning stove want.
Mixed Firewood
A blend of softwood and hardwood. Burns well and costs less than premium. A practical choice if you go through a lot of wood or want to mix grades for different uses.
Eco Firewood
Irregular hardwood — odd sizes, knotty pieces, bark-heavy logs that did not make the premium cut. Same species, same dryness, lower price. Good for open fires and chimeneas where log size matters less.
Eco-Value Firewood
Irregular mixed softwood and hardwood at our lowest price. If you burn a lot of wood and are not fussy about uniformity, this is the most economical option.
Also Available
- Netted kindling — dry softwood sticks for starting fires quickly
- Second-grade kindling — irregular kindling at a reduced price
- Swedish logs — single-log fires, ideal for outdoor cooking and garden gatherings
- Bespoke firewood — cut to a specific length or specification on request
- Firewood storage sheds — keep your logs dry and off the ground

Smoke Control Areas
